Katherine Vaughan Designs started nearly 15 years ago when I discovered that not only did I like to make up my own patterns, I enjoyed writing them down and sharing them with other folks. Over the years I’ve worked as a knitting teacher, pattern designer for magazines and yarn companies, and technical editor. My first and enduring love, though, is self-publishing my own designs. I like to design baby blankets, accessories for children, adults, and the home, and garments for children and adults. When I’m not knitting or designing I’m an academic librarian, mom to two, and avid gardener.
