I am Abby from Orchidean Luxury Yarns. I have been knitting and crocheting my whole life, but started Luxury Yarns in 2011 following the birth of my first child. I have never followed a pattern 100% to the letter, and have been adapting and changing them, or creating items by just experimenting throughout my whole life. I started writing them down after many requests at shows and also I wanted unique patterns to showcase my exclusive yarns. My patterns are generally fairly straightforward and are mostly for beginners to intermediate knitters, as I prefer to knit at the end of a busy day when I don’t have the energy for counting and complicated stitches or colour work. They are all tech edited and test knitted except in the instance that they are free.
